So it’s the 29th today, still hanging in my post movie depression, meals today consisted out of a cup of coffee for lunch and a normal dinner with a slightly reduced portion. So what have I been doing today.
I’ve been modifying some of the old code in my CMS to newer code and that part is now completely done. I’ve also updated my linux server and fixed some security problems on it.
Also optimized my server by disabling some unneeded services and uninstalling unneeded packages. I also fixed some problems that it had with resolving domain names and updated some config files that contained old data.
Other then this I also changed the blog theme to an Avatar one and the theme will change every once in a while to reflect the current interests, I’m also thinking about adding per-post backgrounds in the future (The stuff at the bottom of every post).
In reply to: Aggro Rules ‘Working as Intended’…
I indeed agree with the fact that the normal “aggro radius for all mobs thing” is old and just doesn’t fit.
And advancing on this topic the whole race/faction system in a lot of MMOs is just wrong. For example: in World of Warcraft you are KoS to all players and NPCs of the opposing faction, why is that, what if I want to befriend these races, learn there language and all that.
Other then this you also say
As a new player, one of your eventual goals (get strong enough to slay the dragon) is put directly in front of you, connecting you more directly with the game, all while giving you some nice eye candy as you bash goblins.
However I think a dragon by definition shouldn’t best would be if there is also a way to learn “The ways of the dragon” however this is more on game design then really on your statement (As you stated it’s an aggresive dragon).

So after this post I’ll be playing some Call of Duty 2, and maybe check my WoW/EVE characters.

Final log, 1:02am
Ok, I’ve just connected my xBox360 with my PC using a crossover cable (The wireless network couldn’t handle video) and setup a mediaserver and Connection sharing. So now my xBox has internet and I can watch movies on it that come from my PC.
Tonight I’ve watched zombieland, and even though it isn’t a huge ass budget film (I think) it’s still cool and shifted my mind away from Avatar. Well that’s it I’m going to bed, goodnight my readers.
