well, I had a chain of all 2x angel malakins almost filling up 17 or so belts other day, took 12hrs or so setting it up, (which if there is weak rats they dont actually spawn enough to perma-rat)... and I was making 15mil/20min tick... w/o, u make 5-6mil...

Also salvage is barely worth it, I suggest u get a noctis and fit a shield booster, send him round (on an alt, so u can get yer ratting ship there in time in case he's scrammed) once evevry 1hr 30mins.

Yes you are correct, but some prefer the continuous stream of ISK/alloys chaining will give over the chance-based faction spawns.

You could've ratted plexes instead that would've circumvented the problem. And I don't know if this is 100% accurate some people say killing them all gets a higher good spawn chance.

I used to get lectured when I was down in 0.0 about this. My problem was, I wasn't in it for the bounty, I wanted to collect salvage (in my comorant, after killing the rats in my drake). And that's not really feasable UNLESS you kill everything. Comorants aren't exactly durable. Needless to say, there were arguments, and it became a moot point when my (only) drake got popped by a hostile raiding party. I can only assume my erstwhile alliance-mates were happy to see me leave 0.0 and their precious rat-chains.
